Waiver & Release of Liability

Waiver & Release of Liability

Your safety is our highest priority. Before participating in any Colorado Foraging Company guided experience, all participants are required to review and sign our waiver and release of liability.

Why We Require a Waiver

Foraging in Colorado's wilderness involves inherent risks, including but not limited to uneven terrain, altitude, wildlife encounters, weather changes, and the identification of wild plants and fungi. Our waiver ensures that all participants understand these risks and agree to participate voluntarily and responsibly.

What the Waiver Covers

  • Acknowledgment of the inherent risks of outdoor and foraging activities
  • Confirmation that you are participating voluntarily and in good health
  • Release of Colorado Foraging Company, its guides, and affiliates from liability for injury, illness, or loss arising from participation
  • Agreement to follow all guide instructions and safety protocols during the tour
  • Consent to emergency medical treatment if required
  • Photo and media release (optional — you may opt out)

When to Sign

You will receive a digital waiver link via email after booking your tour. Please complete it at least 24 hours before your scheduled experience. Participants who have not signed the waiver will not be permitted to join the tour.

Minors

Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign the waiver on their behalf. Minors must be accompanied by a signed-in adult for the duration of the tour.
